I and my wife recently came to California from Brazil and i joined as a Visiting Research Scholar at the University of California. I am Ph.D. in Physics and I have published 17 Publication in high impact journal and one book chapter. I want to do the application for NIW. My question is if i will file petition I-140 how long it will take time? and importantly i am here for one year so what is the processing time?

If i will proceed for I-140 and it will not workout within one year can i continue this process from Brazil?

I need your expert suggestions.

Many thanks in advance.

Regards,

Nik
