Ya know, I'm surprised I've adjusted so well to the weather over here in Minnesota. I don't even wear a coat anymore for temperatures around 35 (like today), that's crazy.

I can't wait for summer though, I'm sure we'll all be whining about how hot it is then but I'm actually looking forward to it now. Winter weather can be depressing at times. I'm ready to soak up some sun. :dance:

Sept. 19th Sent AOS

Sept 28th recieved NOA for AOS

Nov.05/05 recieved Biometrics letter

Nov.17th Biometrics Appt.

Nov. 22nd. AP Approved

Nov. 25th/05 recieved EAD card

Nov.30th. recieved AP Papers in mail

Dec. 08th/05 Recieved Snail mail letter for AOS Interview Feb 15th 7:40 AM.

Feb. 15th. /06 AOS Interview SUCCESS !!!! no more to deal with for another 2 yrs!

Feb. 27th./06 Recieved Greencard in the mail

August 4th/06 Our First Wedding Anniversary !!

Feb. 8th 08 Sent in Packet to remove conditions

Feb 23rd 08 Recieve NOA letter stating they are extending my Greencard for another year.

March 11th 08 biometrics appt.

May 29th 08 recieved email stating Card production ordered

June 7th 2008 10 yr card recieved.

Ace, you can come to Florida for a few days and I'll go to where you are. I want to see snow!! I haven't seen it since I was 10.

Trust me, stick to watching snow on the Discovery Channel. Driving in it and shoveling it is a pain :(

Walking through it reaching up to your thighs is quite the adventure. Wish our lazy neighbours would shovel more often :P

Send it to Tucson all winter we have had 0 precipation finally last couple of weekends we finally got some rain here in the city and snow on the peaks...

I am not looking forward to the 100 degree weather that will be creeping up on us any day now....

I am here to help, even if it's just to offer my shoulder to cry or vent on... We are all in this together.!

snow coming to the Loo....probably 4 inches before morning rush and another 2-4 inches at the drive home rush

It's raining AGAIN, STILL here in the bay area. If this continues I may begin to suffer from SAD.

Exactly my thoughts. It feels like we live in Seattle.

09-02-2005 Applications for AOS, EAD, and AP received by MSC

10-21-2005 AOS fingerprint notice for 12-08-2005

11-07-2005 AP approved

12-05-2005 Infopass appt at San Jose office for interim EAD -- Refused, because it is already approved by MSC on 11-07-2005

12-07-2005 Attempt at interim EAD at San Francisco office -- no go. Back to San Jose, where CSO (chief station officer) tells they will contact MSC via email to request permission to issue interim EAD

12-08-2005 Biometrics for AOS and EAD. Having no EAD appt letter was no problem (used EAD NOA)

12-15-2005 EAD arrived in the mail

12-24-2005 Received interview letter; interview scheduled 03-01-2006

01-28-2006 Received replacement SSN card in married name (5 wks since application)

03-01-2006 AOS interview -- approved; received stamp in the passport

03-13-2006 Green card arrived in the mail

i have never seen snow! :no:

I went t to England once in 2003 and one day after I came home it snowed there a little.... i got close that time!

Dave can't wait to have my first snow experience with me! And he's from Indiana too so he'll be pretty cold tomorrow! :yes:

OUR COMPLETE TIMELINE

Latest steps:

10/26/2006- Consulate receives case (seriously, one month to receive the case?? BS!), and packet 3 that I sent even before they had received the case.

01/02/2007- Interview!!!!!!!!!!!!! Got a 221(g)

01/23/2007- Second Interview. VISA granted!!!

01/29/2007- VISA arrived.... no envelope though. I'm gonna contact them and see what happened this time!

01/31/2007- I'll have to send them one last financial support evidence.

02/01/2007- Evidence sent

02/02/2007- Evidence received by Consulate

02/06/2007- Consulate sends envelope!

02/07/2007- Envelope received!!!

02/10/2007- Flew to the USA!!!!!!

04/17/2007- Wedding day!!!
