Well why did she even apply for the visa for you?

I shouldn't but you have to be completely honest about this visa and process. But just remember there are a lot of other girls out there then american

That has nothing to do with the visa. 

 

If you guys are divorcing that can be done from you home country if you need a lawyer you can also do that from your home country. 

 

Maybe get a good good talk with her so all this can be resolved and also the visa application can be withdrawn so none of you will have issues in the future if one of you want to do this again with another person.

In summary, it took 13 months for approval of the CR-1.  It took 44 months for approval of the I-751.  It took 4 months for approval of the N-400.   It took 172 days from N-400 application to Oath Ceremony.   It took 6 weeks for Passport, then 7 additional weeks for return of wife's Naturalization Certificate..
