Yes, that is the thing about FaceTime -- you have a limited amount of time to get these screenshots. 2 weeks max.

Thank you so much. No matter what, we will go in and come out together!

Ok so, here are the steps (hopefully I am awake enough to remember everything!):

  1. Got our interview date from NVC
  2. Received our P4
  3. Visited http://www.ustraveldocs.com and chose Asia as the country and clicked on India and ended up on http://www.ustraveldocs.com/in/index.html?firstTime=No -- my husband already had an account, so I logged in for him (under APPLY FOR A US VISA box -- you can either log in or create an account) https://cgifederal.secure.force.com/?language=English&country=India
  4. Once logged in, I chose "New Application/Schedule an Appointment  (left hand side)
  5. Chose Immigrant Visa clicked continue
  6. Chose India-Delhi clicked continue
  7. Chose English (as the language of the interview) clicked continue
  8. Chose "All Immigrant and Diversity Visas" clicked continue
  9. Chose CR-1 clicked continue
  10. and then followed the prompts

I see that the first available appointment is on September 1st, on the left hand side -- please log in now and make an appointment. This appointment is not for your interview, but your biometrics! Do this asap ok!!

Once you get your biometrics appointment scheduled, call Max and make an appointment for your medical. These places are supposedly in close proximity, so you can get it done in the same day!

Let me know it all goes.

You guys are awesome! Stay blessed always..

Thanks for you help. I followed your instructions and now i have an appointment at New Delhi VAC of August 10th.. feeling happy, nervous and scared at the same time. Had a lil panic attack.. Thank you soooooo much! :)

I don't live in New Delhi but New Delhi is my home town so I can visit again for my Medical examination.. I think I'll make an appointment for it after August 20th.. I'm just trying to do everything perfectly that's why I'm taking my time and doing one thing at one time.. will let you know about everything.

All the best guys.. I'm definitely sure you guys will do great in interview.. please let me know about your Visa interview experience and the questions which they asked.. God bless you guys ☺️

Hey @amul..

how are you guys?!

I have a question.. how long does it take for fingerprints and photo taken at VAC?!

Hey @AJR19 -- thank you so much, we are doing great! How are you guys?

It took him 20 minutes or so I believe! He used a local shop for his photos before he went for the biometrics. :)

Make sure the (photo) background is solid white, ok!

We're fine too thank you so much!☺️

In the appointment letter it doesn't say that we need to bring our photos..

so is it required or not?! And is the photo should be according to photo requirements(2x2 inches)?!

He needed pictures for the medical and we will bring some for the interview as I believe it was mentioned on the letter. We are bringing 4 (2x2) just to be on the safe side.

We followed this requirement: https://travel.state.gov/content/visas/en/general/photos.html

Hope this helps :)

Correct, he did not need any photos for the biometrics, but he had them in his wallet. Honestly, we are ready for anything at this point. Carrying around photos, copies, originals, certificates...ha! :P
