Hello guys..

we got an email from NVC today. We already sent the docs to NVC but they haven't delivered yet. The documents will be delivered today by USPS. So they sent us an email by subject "NVC notice of missing item"

the email is this-

"

****NVC Notice of Missing Item: Please submit Affidavit of Support documents ****

Good day,
The National Visa Center (NVC) received the documents you submitted in support of Abhijeet Rajora's immigrant visa petition. This petition's NVC case number is xxxxxxxxx0062. However, NVC will not review these documents until we receive the Affidavit of Support form(s) and/or supporting financial evidence required for this case.

Please follow the online instructions at nvc.state.gov/aos (English) or nvc.state.gov/aos/espanol (Spanish) to complete the Affidavit of Support form and collect the appropriate financial evidence. Once you've gathered the required financial forms and documents, send them to NVC. Instructions are available at nvc.state.gov/submit (English) or nvc.state.gov/enviar/espanol(Spanish). If you have any questions, please call 1-603-334-0700 or use NVC's online inquiry form at nvc.state.gov/ask (English) or nvc.state.gov/ask/espanol (Spanish).

For current processing times, please visit our website at nvc.state.gov/submit (English) or nvc.state.gov/enviar/espanol(Spanish).

Reminder:  This is only a notice that we received documents from you. We will not review them until we have received both the financial documents from the petitioner and the applicant's civil documents. You must also have paid all required fees and submitted a DS-260 Immigrant Visa application online at ceac.state.gov._______________________________________________________________________________
****NVC Notice of Missing Item: Please submit civil documents ****

Good day,
The National Visa Center (NVC) received the documents you submitted in support of Abhijeet Rajora's immigrant visa petition. This petition's NVC case number xxxxxxxxx0062. However, NVC will not review these documents until we receive the required civil documents for each intending immigrant. Please follow the online instructions at nvc.state.gov/document (English) or nvc.state.gov/documento/espanol(Spanish) to learn which civil documents you need to submit.

Please submit photocopies of these documents. Do not send original certificates to NVC.  Once you've gathered the required civil documents, send them to NVC. Instructions on how to send your documents to NVC are online at nvc.state.gov/submit(English) or nvc.state.gov/enviar/espanol(Spanish). If you have any questions, please call 1-603-334-0700 or use NVC's online inquiry form at nvc.state.gov/ask (English) or nvc.state.gov/ask/espanol (Spanish).

IMPORTANT:
If your visa petition is currently processing at the National Visa Center, do not let more than one year pass without contacting NVC. If a period of one year passes from the last date of contact (by telephone, mail, or e-mail) with NVC, all submitted fees and documents expire. If this occurs, the fees must be paid again and documents must be resubmitted in order to continue the immigration process.

Sincerely,
National Visa Center

I have received the same email and called NVC -- it was a confusing conversation, but the gist of it is that, this appears to be an automated email.

I'm guessing that when mail hits the mailroom, this email is generated. So your mail is in the building, but not assigned to an officer at the moment. Call in a few days to confirm that they have received it.  The date they mention  is your scan date and she/he will say that your file is being reviewed at the moment.

I did casually mention that the wording of this email was confusing and probably created exra calls and she agreed and said she isn't sure why such email is sent.

Anyhow, breath and call them next week to get your scan date.

Congrats on making it to the NVC stage and best of luck. 😊

Hello @amul
Please give me some info about what to expect after getting CC.
do they emailed you that you got your cc?
does NVC schedules an interview by itself and informs you about interview date OR you need to do something about that like making an appointment from New Delhi US embassy website?
did you get your medical examination done?
From where did you get your medical examination? Max in Delhi or SRL?
how was your experience about medical examination?

All the best for your interview.. :)

Hey @AJR19 :)

Sure thing, I will gladly share my experience with you!

After CC, I called the NVC just for the heck of it to see if and when the interview date would be available. I got super lucky and was told that my husband's interview had been scheduled already!

A few days later I received an email with the P4 letter attached. The email subject had our NVC case number (NWD2017xxxxxx) with a pdf attachment. Ironically, I got a second email from NVC a few days after this email and it was the same P4/email.

My husband has not done his medical yet, should be going in a week or so. I think he was leaning towards Max in Delhi. He was there last week due to an injury (a different location -- Saket) and said it was a good hospital.

Thank you so much. I will let you know when/where he gets his medical and his experience as well. ;)

Thank you so much for replying this soon.. :)

Totally -- anytime!

Will do. He is home recovering and as soon as he gets back on his feet he will get it done. I will let you know all that he shares with me.

Am gathering our files (for the interview) now, so made me think of this --> If you like to be proactive, try preparing your interview folder/file while waiting for your CC/interview date. It will take some of the stress off when you are ready to go!

Here is to a speedy CC/interview date assignment for you and yours... :)
