Hello Everyone

I applied for N400 Naturalization ON 01/15/2017
I had my finger print done 02/16/2017
On 03/13/2017 the status online changed to In Line for Interview, Uptill Today 05/25/2017 no change in status and I did not receive my interview letter.
I called USCIS customer service, they said it is with Chicago Field Office and we have no idea about their processing times.
I submit online inquiry twice and never got a response.
I called my attorney (Who took all his fees upfront) , he does not care.
So any one in similar situation, or any advice please/

Thanks in advance

My best suggestion is to browse around the monthly threads and pay close attention to those who are from the same FO as yours (Chicago, IL).

I just took a quick glimpse and looks like we have 1 October filer from Chicago. He/she filed on 09/30/16, got in line on 11/10/16 and nothing has changed ever since. There could be a case that he/she hasn't been updating his/her timeline but I doubt that. Because we also have 1 August filer, filed on 08/01/16 and just got his/her Interview on 04/25/17.

It appears to me that you're in for a 8-9 month wait from the date that you applied.

That's of course the information I got from our monthly threads. Keep in mind that there are more Chicago applicants out there and everybody's case is different.

I'm taking back the part that "you're in for a 8-9 month wait"... If you take a look at November and December threads, you'll see that Chicago applicants are moving along rather quick. Especially the one from December thread, who filed on 12/05/16, interviewed on 4/13/17 and just sworn in on 05/09/17. It looks like a 5 month wait from the date that they applied.

I am going through the Chicago Office and applied in the beginning of September 2016 and my status changed to in line for interview in November I think. I just got an email today saying that they scheduled an interview so you can see from my timeline it can be 7 or 8 months.
