hello,

so... I am just beginning this k-1 fiance visa process. I have just printed and started filling out the i-129f form. I so far have two questions after filling out the very first page...

1) If I dont have the following:

     an A-number

     an USCIS online account number

     any other names used

an in care name, apt, ste, flr, province when it come to my mailing address...

should I leave these all blank or simply write "none".. i've researched this question on my own; however, I am still unsure as people say to do both, leave them blank and to write none as an answer...

2) when it comes to my mailing address, what do i put for postal code? I am unsure as to what this is... I have filled in my zip code and know that the USA doesnt have any provinces... but what is a postal code?

Thanks to everyone who has taken their time to read through my questions, and an even bigger thanks to those who respond back with help. I greatly appreciate it.

1 - Leave them blank. In case you haven't seen this, here is an example form http://www.visajourney.com/examples/Form-I-129F.pdf

2- Leave Postal Code blank if you are in the US. Zip code is basically the same thing as Postal Code but PC's are used in a lot of countries in place of ZC

1) Each USCIS form comes with a set of instructions that tell you what to do with unfilled fields. For o129f, you should leave them blank.

2) Postal codes also does not apply in the US.

If it isn't difficult, it isn't worth it.

I followed the example forms on VJ and left fields blank without any issues.

I won't hurt anything if you write n/a in those fields if it makes you more comfortable. Just a little extra keystrokes is all.

Good luck!

Similar Inquiry (K1-Form Question

I have completely filled out my form online. But for my first employment history, it will not let me enter an end date and it will not let me type in the "present" or N/A

Does anyone know what to do? Should I just write this in in hand after I print it when the rest of it is typed?

Also,  for the additional information section. If I have more than one address do I only put one address in each section or can I list all of them under one section?

There are six spaces for additional information and I just don't know if I have to put one address in each one or if I can list them all since they're all on the same page under the same section.

i've gone through the how to fill out instructions provided on the US CIS website but they don't address either of these issues. They just say you can make a copy of the additional information page if you need more room.

Thank you everyone. This process is overwhelming at times!

Yes. So for my country, we used Postal code, and my fiancé (the U.S. citizen) used Zip Code.

Hang in there!!

Whatever doesn't work online, just write by hand with black ink. We had to do the same thing for a few areas, such as my city in Brazil. Just make sure it's neat and clean. :) Also, make sure you have the new version of the I-129F that expires in 2018. As far as your other addresses, are you referring to the I-129F or the G-325a?

The  I29F

because he was in the military he has multiple addresses so I was unclear if I could put all of the addresses under 3d OR if I had to put one address under 3d, one address under 4done address under 5d....

this is on page 13 of 13 for the petition for alien fiancé, form I 29

thank you for your help.

Just wanna chip in that I heard the G-325a wasn't needed anymore (after filling ours out!) so don't do the extra work if you don't have to. Though on the instructions from the official site it still references needing them.

My understanding after reviewing the instructions written in the petition for the alien fiancé is that that form is no longer needed. I don't have the form in front of me, or what is required in the Evidence section to be submitted at the very end of the packet.

I strongly suggest printing out the instructions and printing out the application and doing everything once on a hardcopy and comparing from the instruction booklet to the corresponding sections on the actual application. After that you can go through and do it online. That is what's working for me right now.

GOOD LUCK!!🙂❤️

Where specifically does it refer to still needing that? I'm looking at the most current form on the instructions for petition for alien fiancé that expires 831 2018 and I don't see it listed anywhere.

Do you by chance possibly have a reference point for that so I can doublecheck it?

I definitely don't want to get that wrong!! Eeek!
