forgot to fill the petitioners weight on I-130

So my wife sent in the I-130 petition and she realized she forgot to fill in her weight in section 3 (petitioners weight). We got an email saying our application was accepted and was sent to Nebraska service center.

 

We are worried our application will be rejected or will be delayed. Has anyone have had similar experience, if so how do we correct it? or should we just wait for it.

Nothing you can do now but wait. If they think it's very important to know her weight you will receive an RFE.

I made a mistake on AOS paperwork and flipped out about it, but you can be proactive rather than just sitting and waiting for a potential RFE and a delay.

 

Reprint the page with the missing information and add it in.  Then type a cover letter including the receipt number for the filing, name, address etc and type out the deficiency with the originally submitted page, what the correct information should be, and an explanation for the error.  Sign and date that.  Enclose a copy of the NOA1 and the reprinted form, and mail it to the address for the service center noted on the NOA1.

Pretty sure this is a non-issue.  That they even ask for this is ridiculous IMHO.  No other I-130 form asked for your weight.

I agree - kind of a weird question.

 

It likely isn't an issue.  Even with my mistakes, which were of more significance than the weight of a person, the agent I spoke to at info pass was sort of dismissive of my worries.  Told me clerical things don't make or break a filing, but suggested the letter of correction as a way for me to have my own peace of mind.
