I don't know if this has been posted yet, it is dated about a month ago, but it does have some info on common mistakes to avoid when filing the I-129F. I know all of these are available here on the Guides, but I think its interesting that its being posted as information directly on USCIS's website.....at least they're making an effort to inform individuals on how to avoid some common pitfalls.

Here's the link to the pdf document.

-P,

Interesting that in the I-129f and I-130 sections they refer to form G-325 (a 2-part form) rather than G-325A (the required 4-part form).

Yodrak,

I see what you mean....leave it up to them to offer less than accurate information. You know that someone out there,(who doesn't have VJ for support) will attempt to fill out a petition, look at the instructions on the I-129F see that G-325A is required, then see this publication stating that they should fill out G-325....at which point they will probably have a #######?! moment and feel quite lost.

Conspiracy theorists will probably say that lawyers and 'immigration' have some sort of agreement to confuse people on purpose to steer them towards paying the exorbident fees to have legal advice through this process...when many here on VJ can attest that it is NOT needed and often only complicates things.
