Remember that you also need PROOF that the tax returns were submitted.  Usual way is to get a tax transcript from the IRS's web site.  If you had the taxes done online or at a tax prep place they should have given you some sort of receipt showing transmittal.

 

My opinion is that lawyers are useless for normal processing.  Unless you are filing for a waiver, then you need a lawyer that has actually done about a dozen or so... so ask them how many they have done in the last year before you give a retainer.

 

Most people are more than qualified to fill out the normal documents... just ask for help.

Yes, i have that proof. 

I see. Defintely should investigate before investing my money. When it's time to file them, i'll come to visajourney. I see how much information there is and how people are eager to help each other.
