Hi All.

My fiancée finally had her Embassy interview on April 4 2017 after receiving her MNL # on July 28 2016.
She said that they kept her and her son’s passports and that the  interview went well, and they wished her good luck going to Florida.
However, they said they needed one more document, that being the NBI clearance which she has since gotten.
The problem I have is that she says she was never given nor has she been emailed a 221g form letter.  From what I have read the 221g form and a submission form is supposed to be attached to the document(s) being sent to the Embassy via  2GO.
Her CEAC status shows last updated on 4/11/17, a week after her interview and that it is under Administrative Processing.
My question is should we wait for an email even thought it has been 6 weeks since the interview, or should I email the Embassy with my question or should we just submit the NBI document without any form letter?
I have called the Embassy just to make sure that her email address was correct but I’m not confident that the information was passed on.

Thanks for any insight.

I decided to email the Embassy with my question and after 3 or 4 days I received a forwarded copy of the email that they sent to my fiancee.  I don't know why she never received it.

I'm glad that I waited to send the document because instead of going to the Embassy the tracking number had the document delivered to Charleston, South Carolina.

After another 3 or 4 days her and her son's CEAC status changed to documents received and another few days later the status changed to issued. :)
