Please, I need an advice...

We sent the documents on I-751 to Vermont Center but they seemed to be lost by post (tracking shows "in transit" until now). We filed a case with USPS and their investigation for several days found nothing. So we prepared and sent the second package where mentioned (in the cover letter) that this is a replacement of the application lost by USPS. But today we found the USCIS cashed our check that means the 1st packet arrived! The second one (with the second check, or course) will be delivered tomorrow.

What should we do now if any? Will it be a problem for us when USCIS get two identical sets of documents from one applicant?

Should I call USCIS and try to reach a representative to explain everything or not?

Thank you in advance for all your advices

Have your bank cancel the second check.

Call USCIS.  Don't expect much from them though.  The operators are pretty useless.

Yes, we will cancel the 2nd check. But I also hope it will not cancel my case when USCIS try to cash it then.

As for useless representatives... I suppose it - I have read the forums here and other information on internet.

Thank you very much for you answer
