I think the data they've provided is lacking. What was the cause of people seeking treatment for THC? They even mentioned people doing other drugs at the same time. I'm all for the legalization of drugs but I don't find this article being useful.

Useful ? Of course not. Interesting yes. Actually the article is BS, because not so many do mushrooms and if by god you select the wrong one it will kill you dead

maybe they ate so much they exploded.

I do think with some of the High THC content edibles people can get so high they freak out. Is not going to kill them less they do something stupid like trying to fly

Aye. People predisposed to psychoactives can have adverse reactions but a common psychoactive people have reactions to that doesn't make the news? Sugar.

THC though is awesome in edibles.. and speaking of edibles, one has a much higher chance of dying from hyperglycemic shock from the sugar made in edibles (especially brownies and cookies) than anything the THC does.

If weed was not illegal and my wife would not divorce me, it might be something I used to relax on a regular basis

Define relaxing.. it made me paranoid as hell, most of the strains.

But there are some strains that have shown to help with attention deficit, something of which I have a severe issue with (for example, due to my attention span people have to write down things for me, that are important that is, rather than verbalize, because I'll forget it two seconds later).

You know someone who is predisposed to binge eating has a big tray of pot brownies. Gets higher than Charlie Sheen  , then gets the munchies. Eats the tray of Brownies

Yes. It can be a really bad combo. One 4th of July I went to friends (somewhere between South San Jose and Morgan Hill), got really drunk and really high (while setting off a lot of Mexico's finest), there was some miscommunication, I thought they wanted me to leave, but they wanted everyone else to leave, but wanted me to stay the night (I was the only one driving myself). It was about an hour drive, I remember starting the drive home, I remember stopping off at McDonalds in town, then I woke up lying face down on the floor in my bedroom like 10 feet from my bed. I'm utterly shocked I was able to drive home without wrecking my car like in Wolf of Wall Street. Never again.

The key to help binge eating though is don't make many in the first place. ;) I don't expect kids who are just screwing around to know, but adults... the stuff has way too much sugar anyways, unless one uses stevia or something, which I've yet to hear of.
