I recently gave an interview at u.s consulate Islamabad, Pakistan on 15th of May 2017. My wife is an American citizen. we got married on 28th of November 2015. i reached the consulate at 7;30 in a morning after waiting for couple hours finally my name and token number was called. Visa officer had all my paper work already. He started my interview. Q. No 1 What is your wife name? Q No 2 What is the time in Ohio right now? and the third question was the most important one as my wife is older than me and when he asked me about my wife age and i told him my wife is 73 years old. The visa officer looked at my face and said oh really as i am 20 years old. He told me  to wait. I waited an hour and my name was called i was interviewed in separate room in front of four visa officers. They started out real nice. An American lady started asking me questions how did you met your wife? I answered i had a job at call center and this is how we met. She kept asking me bunch of questions and  that it's not possible and then there was a Pakistani man he started saying you can't be in love with an older woman. I had everything like cards, letters,Photographs and Call log. They didn't wanna see anything. That Pakistani man started talking to me in urdu and said i have sons older than you and  this can't be love a marriage you are just seeking  immigration benefits i kept answering their questions i said age doesn't matter to me as we love each other. That Pakistani man wanted me to admit that i got married just to seek immigration benefits or else he would permanently ban me from en.tering united states of America I was interviewed for almost an hour and at the end of my interview they gave me 221(G) form and said your case needs additional administrative processing. Where do i stand.what are my chances  Please help i am unable to sleep during the nights?

Thanks for your reply. Do you think i will get a visa? They kept my passport and my wife is also going to contact senator of Ohio.

i personally do not think you will get it. But that is only my guess all you can do is wait for their decision to me made.

I don't know if you will be approved or not.  Its very doubtful.  Nothing a senator can really do.  Your obligation was to overcome the obvious hurdles in your case.  Large age difference, woman unable to bear children for an extremely young man without children, very little facetime, and I venture to say religious differences.  Did you frontload?

How long do i have to wait for their decision. Or if if it gets denied can we go the court as it is age discrimination?

AP can be days, months or years no one can tell you.

They can deny for other reasons then age. You have a lot of other red flags also.

Have you looked into your wife moving to  you?
