Hello all 😊 I really want to go support my fiance and be with him for his interview when time comes. I know I probably can't come in but I want to be there for moral support. I've had someone say if it might not look good on our end. I heard Ghana is a difficult consult because of high risk fraud. Has any members in high fraud countries seen this to help or hurt their chances ?

Hi, if you wanna go give moral support for your hubby then you can, buts that's up to you, if you go or not that in my opinion won't help or hurt from different post now we aren't allowed in the embassy anymore, and my experience in the embassy was not the best and it's a long story, but it's really whatever you wanna do

I went to Ghana when my husband had his interview in February. I don't know if it made a difference, but at least two people in the embassy commented to my husband that they were sorry I wasn't allowed in. At the same time, I know people were still denied despite being in the country with their Ghanaian partner.

I would suggest if you decide to attend to make sure your presence is know by the CO. I arrived 3 days before the interview. We made sure to take picture of us at different places and with different people during those days leading up to the interview. We made copies of my boarding passes, visa stamp and hotel receipts. I also wrote a letter that let the CO know I was outside the embassy should they want to speak with me. We included all of this in the evidence my husband took into the embassy with him.

I'll be honest. The interview is all about your partner knowing you and every piece of evidence you submitted. My husband was mostly asked questions from chats and pictures I submitted throughout the process. (You can find my review in the Consulate Review section.)

I would highly recommend you read through the reviews and start quizzing your fiancé. My husband and I spent hours going over things...not so he would have memorized answers, but so he would no how to answer questions so the CO will understand. I also uploaded all of our evidence to Google Docs and sent him a link. This allowed my husband to look over things in his free time and he was aware of what the CO had in front of her. The only information the CO has to go off of is what you provide, so make sure your man knows the evidence inside and out.
