Are you petitioning for your husband or is he petitioning for you?

Is one of you a US citizen or legal permanent resident?

From what I can understand your husband is a permanent resident and he's sponsoring you, correct? The process differs based on where you're applying from (within or outside the US). 

 

He needs to file a Form I-130 Petition for Alien Relative and currently it takes about 2 years after that for a visa to become available for you. Family members of permanent resident are not eligible for immediate visas. But there are ways around this. How long has he been a permenent resident? If he's been here for 5 years, he could apply for naturalization. It's much easier for a US citizen to bring their spouse than it is for a permanent resident. For spouses of US citizens there's no wait, visas are immediately available.

 

You really need to provide more information though.

N-400 Application for Naturalization

Day    00 - 08/31/20 - Submitted online N-400 application. ROC still pending. Requested combo interview.

Day    01 - 09/01/20 - NOA received online. Status says biometrics appt letter will be sent. (PD 08/31/20)

Day  141 - 01/20/21 - Biometrics reuse letter

Day  233 - 04/22/21 - ROC approved, no news on N-400

Day  288 - 06/18/21 - Interview scheduled

Day  332 - 07/30/21 - Successful interview. No decision yet.

Day 758  - 09/28/22 - Oath ceremony will be scheduled

Day 870 - 01/18/23 - Oath ceremony complete

Me: Irish/ Swiss citizen, and now naturalised US citizen. Husband: USC; twin babies born Feb 08 in Ireland and a daughter in Feb 2010 in Arkansas who are all joint Irish/ USC. Did DCF (IR1) in 6 weeks via the Dublin, Ireland embassy and now living in Arkansas.
