Tomorrow is my interview at the consulate in Ciudad Juarez. I'm so scared, I'm crying a lot. They asked if I do drugs, drink or smoke. I never have. They kept pressuring me so I told him hem that 4 years ago, I was in a car with people who smoked. I didn't smoke and I never have. They sent me to psych and it was a quick 5 minute chat aboutbwhat my tattoo (a heart/musical note). The person interviewing me said "I love music too" asked about my incident and that was it. I have been on this site for a long time and now It's here and I'm frozen stiff. I could use some support, tips and prayers.

The doctor would have told you if they thought you need further drug screening. If they gave you a manilla envelope to take to your visa interview it has your approved medical exam in it and you have absolutely nothing to worry about.

Worrying won't help. Leave it in God's hands now. What's done is done.  Being in a car with those who smoked isn't a reason for denial.  I don't think you have anything to worry about. You didn't do anything.  I know how stressful it can be. Just remember what is Gods will can't be stopped.

I've seen your other posts here.  You're going to be fine friend.  Just remember, thousands of couples have gone before you and have gotten their Visas without any problems.  You will too.

A therapist friend recommended breathing technique that has helped me deal with stress and anxiety.  The technique sounds simple and a bit silly, but, sometimes its simple non-complicated things that help the most.

The breathing technique is called the 4x4x4:

Breath in for a long 4 seconds.............

Then exhale for a long 4 seconds...........

Then repeat 4 times.............

Do this slowly and don't rush it.  Biologically, when you panic and get flustered, the first thing our bodies tend to do is breath too quickly and gasp for air.  This gasping for air activates our flight or fight response, and makes us panic and freeze.  Controlling your breathing will regulate your body and mind.  Just try it now, and you'll feel many times calmer.

You will be fine.
