I-693 & Vaccination Record

I need URGENT help!!!

 

I'm doing AOS I need help with Vaccination requirement for the I-485 application.

 

He is the beneficiary, he is now in the USA and we are now married. He had his full medical performed at an approved clinic in Juarez before his Consulate Interview. He was told at the clinic, since he was applying for a K1 Visa, he didn't need to have the shots applied until his AOS. He was given a blank DS-3045 (I believe that's the number), but the Vaccination was left blank with no notations. Since this is the case, he needs to have a local Certified Civil Surgeon approved by USCIS to fill out form I-693 and fill out  partial parts only for the vaccination omitting the medical sections.

 

However, I called several clinics in the area and even out of state by a few extra miles from our location and mostly all of them require him to be a registered patient. I was told he needs another medical, no matter how many times I told them he already has his medical done overseas and that USCIS specifically states in the I-485 & I-693 instructions that he doesn't need another medical is it was done within one year period. Other clinics wanted to schedule him for June, seriously??!!!! That wouldn't work for us since we need to have this done within 90 day period. No other clinic want to help us fill out a simple form. My husband had all his shots done at a clinic where he lives, we just need the I-693 filled out and the clinics here are requiring him to do the full medical and fill out the entire I-693 costing us $400!!!! PLease help!!!!

This is unfortunately a common problem. The clinics try to capitalize or simply don't know any better. 

I can't help you with any advice regarding clinics but I will say that if June is the only option, that's fine. There is no legal requirement that you have to file aos within the 90 days. He will simply be out of status for a couple of weeks.
