Foreign love has it's price and sacrifices.  No way around it unless you meet in a third country.
If your wife would get on this forum as I suggested she could have first hand information from other USC's that have

made it just fine in Pakistan. She can post herself in the regional forum and get great advice on how to feel safe.

No one said anything about ruining your life.

If you can't qualify for a US visa, then you are unlikely to qualify for a Canadian visa.   It means you are unlikely to qualify.  The US denial has nothing to do with it.  The two countries uses similar criteria.  Extremely hard for a Pakistani to get visitor visas to western countries.

Because your US visa didn't get approved, it'll be near impossible for you to get a Canadian visa. IMHO the best way would be to have your wife live with you in Pakistan for a while or at least visit, 2-3 times. If you show that you guys are serious about being with each other and it's not a scam to get citizenship, your chances of getting US visa will improve. So, instead of trying to apply for Canada, you should focus on proving to USCIS and Consulate that your relationship is genuine and you're not desperate to move to a western country. This is just my humble opinion of course.
