Today my wife call the uscis to know the reason why us embassy islamabad returned our case to uscis and they said they dont know either and they said to my wife that they will not mail any letter or notice to my wife and they will update the website I don't know what's that suppose to mean and they said to my wife to call the national visa center to know the reason why embassy return our case back and when she call the national visa center  they said only uscis know the reason I don't know what's going on with our case and if they didn't mail any letter or notice and uscis officer said I have to make an appointment with us embassy islamabad and ask them why they returned my case to uscis but I will not face us embassy islamabad until I get another interview if uscis dont mail the notice or letter what is status going to be ?

Oh for goodness' sakes.
You were told throughout this thread what the process is. Read it over and over until you understand it.

Stop asking the same questions when you already received the answers numerous times in this now 14 page thread.
Accept the fact that you must wait until you get the NOID/NOIR letter 6-12 months from now.
Accept the fact that USCIS, NVC and the embassy will not tell you anything. It is out of the embassy's hands, it is out of NVC's hand
and it is out of the hands of the people who answer the phones at USCIS.
You are running in circles. Stop it, accept the process you were told would happen and learn to wait.
Of course you will get a letter from USCIS.
Stop calling them, I told you before you will get misinformation when calling.
Point is it will take many months (6-12) before you get this letter and when you will finally accept that fact then you
will stop driving yourselves crazy. If you keep running with your head against a wall you end up with a headache.

Did you get a letter of NIOR?  From your post it looks like it spent 2 months at NVC and 6 months at USCIS?

Our case was returned to NVC and we are waiting for them to return it to Potomac.

Thanks!

It won't take 2 years to reaffirm but every bit of 9-18 months. Security checks can take 2 years though but they may not take that long either. Your wife should go and live with you for several months then you can be together.

It won't hurt to contact the Ombudsman a couple of times while it's waiting to be looked at but they can't speed up security or background checks.
