Well lets see. She'll be going back to the Phils - so why would his US address be HER address?

Besides, the I 129f asks if the foreign fiance/e is currently in the US and if so, when they're due to go back.

If she is in the USA for a very short period of time and just as a visitor then her address will be in her home country.

Unless she moved in with you for 6 month and has her mail forwarded here she is not technically living here.

In my case, I've been here over 6 months (extension of B2 accepted) and I live with my boyfriend so I put the address where we live here (I received the extension paper here) and even though I can't work I live here with him.

If I had been visiting for only a few weeks then I would have put my Country's address.

Some people have the chance to file the K1 together because the fiance is visiting, but as long as it's a visit, her address doesn't change to the US one.

Hope this help.

When she files for the K1 she will have to go back to her home country, for the interview anyway. In the early stages of the K-1 process all mail will be going to the US fiance but after the petition is sent on to the foreign consulate, they will be contacting the foreign fiancee there. I doubt they will send mail internationally (The USCIS doesn't, anyway).

We filed the I129F when I left my fiance in the US,it is just a total pain in the butt cos you have to give in the number that is stamped in her passport.

They might through a fit about it,maybe you should wait until she leaves just a tip.

But yeah you should give in her adress from her HOME country and not form anywhere else.

THanks guys

We've received advice to the contrary: that you can file while your fiance(e) is currently visiting. The number that DakotaK1 refers to is the arrival/departure record number. Not sure why this should be a "pain"? In addition, some airports also allow you to exit the US using US VISIT, ie the same procedure with fingerprints as when you entered. You then get a receipt to prove this.

Can this cause a delay? I doubt it since the interview etc has to take place abroad. The fact that you are here legally and have perhaps been here in the past should count in your favor if anything. As long as you depart in a timely manner.

As for the address of the fiance(e), there are two separate questions in Part B of I-129F, nrs. 2 and 15. My question: if you are here currently why not put the US address in 2 and the foreign one in 15, which explicitly asks for fiance(e) address abroad?

Cheers

You need towrite down the adress of her at her home country. There she will receive package 3 and 4. She needs to have her interview done at the US Embassy in the Phillipines. The K1 visa is an 1 time entry visa for 90 days to marry a US citizen.
