Saturday, an anonymous person who works in Washington DC, alleged on 4Chan’s /pol/ subgroup that high-ranking current and former Democratic Party officials are terrified of the Seth Rich murder investigation.

This comes after internet entrepreneur and hacker, Kim DotCom, admitted on Saturday that he was part of an operation along with Seth Rich to get stolen DNC emails to Wikileaks.

Sorry, but people have been talking about his murder since it happened. The police automatically labeled it a "Robbery gone wrong" even though none of his personal possessions were taken, not even his wallet. Julian Assange was almost out right saying that he was a source, but then when he was asked directly he said "I can not reveal my source". I would bet you money that his death was because he gave info to Wikileaks.

Seth Rich was one of the top IT people for the DNC.  He was not some low level person as the corporate media wants people to think and he certainly had the access he needed to get the emails. I don't know anything either way about what the OP posted but it is a far more plausible explanation that Seth Rich leaked the emails and not some shadowy unknown Russian hacker. Maybe he was a disgruntled Bernie supporter. The explanation that he was killed in a robbery doesn't add up and this needs to be investigated further. A highly respected private investigator (and former police officer) hired by Rich's family recently spoke out about this. If the Democrats want a fair and impartial investigation they should take a serious look at this. But they won't because it would be political suicide.

Unfortunately a murder investigation can't just be stopped at the request of the family. Someone violated the law and we need to find out who. This has even bigger implications because we could find out he was murdered in retaliation for leaking the emails. That would put the Russian collusion investigation to rest finally. The Democrats are not going to get a pass on this one by saying "respect the family's wishes". This needs to be thoroughly investigated. There is more to go on here than there is for the Russian theory and look at all the time and money spent on that.

The theory that the Hillary Clinton political machine had Seth Rich, 27, murdered because he allegedly had contact with WikiLeaks has been fodder for pro-Trump trolls on Reddit, 4Chan, and Twitter for months. No actual evidence exists proving the theory—beyond conspiratorial innuendo from trolls and Julian Assange—and Washington, D.C. police suspected that Rich was killed last summer in a botched robbery in the neighborhood. 

And yet the conspiracy came back to Hannity’s attention last week when Fox regular Rod Wheeler, a private investigator allegedly hired by a Trump-supporting millionaire, claimed that proof existed of Rich’s contacts with WikiLeaks. Fox 5 D.C. ran with his assertion, as did FoxNews.com. Major players in viral conservative media including Breitbart, Gateway Pundit, and The Drudge Report immediately latched onto this as a smoking gun. 

Hours later, the story began to crumble.

Wheeler since rescinded the claim after the Rich family sent him a cease-and-desist letter. The family, via a spokesman, has additionally pleaded with Hannity and others to stop “[manipulating] the legacy of a murder victim in order to forward their own political agenda.”

Nevertheless, the conspiracy theory has persisted on Fox News.

It gained an additional on-air advocate on Sunday when Newt Gingrich told reliably unskeptical Fox & Friends hosts: “We have this very strange story now of this young man who worked for the Democratic National Committee, who apparently was assassinated at 4 in the morning, having given WikiLeaks something like 53,000 emails and 17,000 attachments.” 

The Russian Embassy in the U.K. also got in on the action last week, following Fox News’ lead. “#WikiLeaks informer Seth Rich murdered in US but MSM was so busy accusing Russian hackers to take notice,” the embassy tweeted.

Hannity angrily responded on Sunday to critics on Twitter with messages like, “Why do u and the lib media keep advancing the unhinged ‘Trump/Russia’ conspiracy? Any evidence? Do you believe the ‘robbery’ story?”

It sounds like the DC police have this 8ne and all you are doing is advancing your conspiracy theories to rationalize why there is no Russian involvement in the DNC. Did Seth Rich hack the Podesta email account too? Have some self respecr. Leave this family alone.

One is a fact documented in a published US intelligence document, The other a rant. withoutb a shred of evidence promoted by Hannitys need for ratings. Hannity Is not a journalist.   So no comparison
