I'm a perfectionist and even if my forms are sent off perfectly and properly, I'll still worry! With that said, I need a couple of things cleared up by you guys before I can safely send away.

I've read the guides on the site, they're very helpful, but some things I've had to work out on my own and a couple have me puzzled:

1) On the G-325A, in the black box at the bottom of each page, is the name of the petitioner to be written on both the Citizen's and the foreign spouse's? Also, what about where it says 'Alien Reg No.'? Do I write N/A or is there something I don't know?

2) Also with the G-325A, where it says 'this form is submitted with an application for:', which box, if any, best suits the K3 Visa?

3) Showing evidence of a joint bank account was deemed acceptable evidence for a bonafide marriage, but how much evidence of the account will i need to show? Just a bank statement?

Thanks.

1. This form has been used for many purposes. The "applicant" in this context is the same as the signature, so it's your name on yours and the beneficiary's name on theirs. "none" is appropriate if there is none.

2. Check "other" and write in the appropriate visa category.

3. A bank statement showing both names will serve any purpose a bank statement can serve in this context. Personally, I would provide only the front page or summary. They don't need to see a record of all your expenses. This is just one element of evidence. It is not sufficient alone.

A Warning to Green Card Holders About Voting

The G-325A is submitted for each individual person - the form is unique to that individual only and has their name in the very first box as well as the last box at the bottom of the page.

My checklist included only a copy of the Marriage Certificate as proof of relationship.

For "Other", the blank seems to be much smaller in the latest version of the G-325A form than what the sample shows. Personally, I checked Other and typed in I-130 in the blank, since this is what I will be sending the G-325A with. I called USCIS customer service and they said that this was fine.

When I send in the I-129F, I'll type in I-129F in the blank instead.

To me, this makes sense, but it would be good to know what other people have done in their applications.
