My husband was exempt from serving in the military in Egypt. We went ahead and got a certificate stating he was exempt to send with his other civil documents. So, now my question is..what should I check off on the NVC document checklist besides Military Records and translation? Enclosed or N/A?

The military exemption record should be checked off as 'enclosed'. My husband too was exempted from the military, and we provided the same certificate of exemption.

You're welcomed. ^_^

Actually, can I ask you another question?

for the AOS/IV packages I am I supposed to put an NVC document cover sheet on each packet? If so, do I only check off the documents that are in each packet or do I check everything off? Hope that makes sense. It's kinda confusing.

Ask me anything, I do not mind, and I will try to help you the best I can. :)

On your AOS package have the NVC cover sheet with the correct information checked off that is enclosed or not, then put another NVC cover sheet for the IV package and do the same. For the documents that does not go with that particular package, just check N/A.

Although you will be send the two package together, have them separate with the documents for IV in an envelope marked 'IV', and then for the AOS documents have them in their own envelope marked as 'AOS'; place both envelopes into one big envelope or courier envelope.

I hope this helps. :)

Yes! Thank you! that's exactly what I needed to know.

So, let me make sure I got it right. I put a cover sheet on each packet, for AOS I only check off the documents that correspond to that packet and everything else is N/A. Then the same thing with the IV package.
