It is great if you are able to visit each other while K-1 is being filed, however, you need to show a strong tie to your country since you already showed intention to immigrate to States. He can visit you in your country too, and that picture can be use as the supporting during the interview.

Thank you very much for taking the time to answer my question. So when my german gf is asked by the CBP, she should answer "I'm visiting my fiancé, here is my proof that I'll be staying only 2 weeks"?

Yes, Exactly! :D

No. She should say she's visiting her fiancé. Never offer more than what is asked. Most likely they will not ask anything beyond that, but if they do - she can offer the evidence.

If it isn't difficult, it isn't worth it.

Thank you very much. This is scary stuff. One wrong answer even if it's the truth can set them off it seems...

Depends what the truth is. It's their job to be intimidating. The more relaxed, confident and polite she behaves - the more they are likely to trust her honesty and good intentions. Some will deny this, but it is in part a psychological game. However, VWP country citizens rarely have issues visiting (even with pending immigration petitions).

If it isn't difficult, it isn't worth it.

Thanks for the warning, but it's not necessary.  To be clear, I'm also Arab and Muslim, so there are no religious or cultural differences between us, and I've lived in the middle east for many years.

I also don't believe that dating or being engaged for X amount of time before deciding to marry works very well............look at the huge divorce rate even here in America.  Each couple is different and what works for some won't work for others in terms of waiting X amount of time before deciding to get married.

Just sayin' that you kind of genaralized in your reply about men from "certain"  countries, but I understand your concern. I'm not saying scams don't happen.........

Good wishes :)  yes i agree if similair culture its fine.

Our cultures Arabs, Indians etc all the more one meeting before K1 is quite okay with immigration as they are aware its the norm.

Just those scams where a 21 year old male from a atruggling region falls madly in so called love with a white 45 year old woman over facebook is sad.  I am currently private talking to two and its tragic.
