Hi all,

I am approaching the end of my 2nd year of having my conditional green card (through marriage). On the USCIS website, it states you can file form I-751 90 days prior to the expiration date. I am still a few months away from this and I wanted to know if there was anyone who could kindly share their experience with this. Was filing the form enough? How quickly did you hear back, do they just mail you another green card that is not conditional? Did anyone go for another interview? What documents are needed to take that are different from the ones we initially filed and took to our first interview? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Another thing that is important is Tax returns for the years married, I am sure these wonderful guys on here have already mentioned it. You can get them for free, I think it took a week or so for our transcripts to be delivered to us.  Then some people have chosen to do  Power of Attorney relating to wills and medical issues. I guess that is a personal kind of thing.  I haven't nor do I intend to. I guess if they want to interview my husband and I they are welcome, but I also see the whole of this process as a personal choice as no two marriages are the same nor circumstances.
