Hi,

I had many friends and family who after ROC proccess first got offical approval letter then the actual green card.

Today my green card came and I never got offical approval letter. Is this common?

Im worried what if it was some glitch in the system and sent request to make me a card lol it happened before I read about it.

Do you guys think it is neccesary for me to go to Info Pass and double confirm that I am actually approved?

I called them but they said they dont see I am approved but if I got the card that means I am approved.

Should I just celebrate and not worry about it hah

I-751 (ROC)

03/10/2016- Called USCIS to ask about my case, they said no updates and I am within normal processing time

08/23/2016- Called again to ask, they still said within normal processing time,no updates

10/11/2016- Date my conditional green card expired(the one year extension),called again they said schedule InfoPass

Looking at your timeline you have been waiting long enough and you received an RFE in March which means they were looking at your case. So I would celebrate and then wait them to catch up and actually update their systems.  Congrats! :)

I was also in your situation. I got the green card first and the approval letter came slowly behind several days later. You can find the exact dates on my signature. Just a heads up, the approval letter I received was on plain paper and did not look like an USCIS letter at all. But it doesn't matter. What matters is that you got your green card. Congrats!

Sounds like someone forgot to load the "special paper" in the printer!!!
