Hi there guys, good to talk to you again.

I was wondering if anyone has any information on the backlog for the Juarez consoluate. Are packet was received Sept 5, 2006 and we are getting closer to an expected arrival of a new packet. However, we aren't sure if the backlog has been changed during our wait. Originally it was 6 months, then 6-9, followed by 9-11 month wait after the packet was recieved.

many thanks!

Troy, are you talking about an I-130 appointment? It's about 12 months total for a CR1 appointment right now. Hopefully they will reduce the backlog soon - there has been talk of it in CDJ.
