3 mons already i dnt hav my receipt number for my EAD

hi i filed my EAD together with my AOS last Feb. and until now havn't got my receipt number. its already 3 months since i filed it. then i called the uscis and was able to talk to a immgration officer telling me to send a letter for them to clear the new address coz my mail was send back to the missouri service center. im so confused. is there anyone who had this same experience like me..can u share it to me. my husband is deployed to im the only one processing my papers... help pls..

First of all did they cashed your checks if yes it is a good thing,and you are in the process already.Go to your bank and ask them the statments they should have cashed checks copies ON THAT COPIES IT SHOULD BE STAMP WITH YOUR RECEIPT NUMBER started with MSC.You can track it online.

Second if they could not deliver mail to you it must be the problem with your mail box,if you renting the place you should go to your post office and change it to your name this is causing 99 percent of returned mail as undeliverale.

i suggest you to go to your local office thru infopass and correct your problem it will be much faster and painless than change your address online or on the phone it is take forever.

Hmmm....That's very strange. I am not sure, but it might be something to do with not paying Bio Fee? If I were you I would make an appointment with the local office and find out what is happening.

I don't know why they haven't inform you that they didn't receive your bio fee though.
