RFE Different birth dates

Hello,

My mother is on the process to her green card, She came many years ago with a humanitarian visa, she came to her bother's funeral, she over stayed to help out with grandma. Her Mexican passport, Visa and Birth Certificate all have different dates

Visa: 11/10/1944

Mexican Passport: 10/10/1944

Birth Certificate: 12/10/1944 <<<<<< CORRECT DATE

She never checked the accuracy of the birth dates, she was very distraught at that time. Today we received a letter requesting a sworn affidavit explaining why 3 different dates. Her renewed passport shows the right date, the mistake it was corrected. A letter from the Mexican Consulate stating that the mistake was on their part and has been corrected a the copy of her renewed passport and an explanation about not knowing why the USCIS Officer issuing her visa made a mistake on the dates and her not checking that everything was correct due to her emotional distress would be enough?

Any advice would b greatly appreciated

The documents and evidence you've submitted are not quite enough, since they're asking for a sworn affidavit. 

She will have to write another statement, clarifying (as best she can) what happened from her perspective. Basically what you're describing as the "explanation" - but then, she will have to swear to the truth of the statement and have the affidavit notarized.
