hi everyone,

Ok here is the deal..i sent the AOS/EAD to the chicago lockbox by USPS and it was delivered and signed for on 4/3/07. Only thing is the checks have not cashed yet. I know when i filed the K-1 petition...they cashed those things so fast. How long does it usually take? if they havent cashed it yet..is there somewhere i can call to see about them tracking down the paperwork?

Thanks,

melinda

It was delivered a week ago. The checks then have to make it to a bank, then it can take 5 or 6 takes to draw from your account. Checks are not always so quick. And with AOS, I'm not sure, but it could get sent to Missouri before they even cash your checks - adds even more time. Give it at least two weeks - I'm sure they have the paperwork, you'll probably get an NOA shortly.

As far as I know, there is no way to track down the paperwork until you have a case number.
