Blood test for k1 AOS

Gd morning vj members, do I have to do another blood test before a civil surgeon can certify my vacinnation for the k1 AOS? A civil surgeon office or hospital I called yesterday said the reason why the fee increased is because uscis informed them to do a blood test. Has anybody been to a civil surgeon recently? I live in Miami.

I don't know which specific blood test you are being asked for.  For our AOS interview that was a month and a half ago, we were told at the interview we had to get an additional test that was added to the requirements but was not done by the civil surgeon that did my wife's medical exam in Taiwan.  There was a new requirement that many doctors conducting the medical examination ignored.  The officer conducting our interview said that about 80% of people coming in for the AOS interview were missing it.  We had to find a local civil surgeon who would do just that test and mail the results to the USCIS office before they could approve and mail my wife's greencard.

Ok I guess that was the test the lady told me I had to do which increased their price a little. The other civil surgeon offices I called did not mention any thing about having a test and their fee was more expensive. Though I did all medical test,  xray and took three shots of vaccine in my country,  I prefer to go to them because of your wife's experience. That may be the test, the medical office talked about. Could anyone tell what test are you talking about? I am wondering if I have this one done.
