Happy Bday to your hubby Julianna,

Julianb doesnt really post but he's on send him a PM if you want. I just sent him best wishes and to call if he's anxious. I'm sure they will be fine though. Women interviewing always have an easier time. I met one guy on my first trip to Jordan who's fiance got her visa that afternoon same day as her interview!

By the way - does anyone speak with Lorette????

What about Angie any word on their visa???

5 more days! Actually 4 days, 12 hours and 10 minutes!

I feel like I have a paper due (well actually I have the thesis due but I can't concentrate on it) so I am feeling the cleaning frenzy-feelings coming on. Next will be baking. Cleaning, then baking/cooking. That's always how it works.

I have been opening up the freezer to look at the halal meat I bought for him. I have no idea what I am doing, it's not like it's going anywhere, but I just count all the stacks and think about what I will make for him. I feel like I'm going through that "nesting" phase for pregnant women in late pregnancy.

I'm considering painting a mural in the office.

Julianna,

Well today we had a small practice for the interview. he did really well! We also had some stressing about the whole family situation he is in, and generally, we had a good talk. A good, 2-hour talk. He's entering his nervous-so-insomnia phase. Awesome.

I wish! But he doesn't have internet access except at work :) And then he is teaching, so he doesn't do much online ever :)

He will likely get some sleep tonight and then Saturday night, and then a tiny bit Sunday night... I remember when his father was in the hospital all the time he would be awake for 5 days straight.

Have you guys been practicing yet?

Not really practicing, I mean we've known each other for over a year and initially were really close friends, I told him EVERYTHING lol. Mainly, I have to remind him about my work, company name and geography. He gets confused that I live in New Jersey but work in New York. Otherwise, he knows everything else. Sometimes he remembers more than me (embarrassing).

I'm kind of put off with the online chatting scene though, we both got tired of it. It becomes too painful seeing your loved one on a cam and not being able to reach out and hug them. So most of our time is spent on the phone, we're both working to pay phone bills needlesstosay. We spent approximately 10 hours a week talking on the phone lol. Sunday was probably the second longest stretch 3 hours and about 10 minutes. My friend at work wanted to know what could we possible have to talk about for 3 hours knowing each other over a year. I asked her when was the last time she spent a year away from her husband???
