I think when people are in relationships and cheat, then there is something wrong with the relationship (as well as the person)! If you are seeking someone else outside your relationship, then you need to figure out what's missing in your current relationship. Obviously, that relationship isn't going to work if you're cheating, and you need to part ways. Perhaps your encounter will allow you to realize what was missing in your old relationship, and you can look for that for the next.

I think once you cheat on someone it's over, but doesn't mean that you are going to cheat on the next person.....

Generally, no. But for me, that's not the important issue there. One of the reasons I gave my heart to Justin is because I know he'll treasure it. If he cheated on me (but I believe he would not do that) he would not be the person for me, and It would be over.

Saludos,

Caro

Cheating is bad no matter how you slice it.

I have always been of the belief that people do not change. They simply make better decisions based upon their experiences and knowledge as they mature. However, they still have the ability to revert and make "some" of the same poor choices given the right/wrong stimulus because that is the core of their personality profile.

I consider my way of thinking to be a tad radical or out of the box... but that's just how I have perceived folks my entire life.

Cheers!!!

I voted undecided to whether cheaters can change. I think it depends on the person and their mentality.

I was once the 'other woman' in a relationship a few years ago. I know he will never change, he is married now and has a kid but I have been told he still see's other girls on the side.

If you were the "Other Woman" and you knew then you have very little morals.

I actually found out three months into the relationship, so don't be too quick to label me.

I think cheaters can change.. but most don't have the will to change..

My father had an emotional affair on my mother in the months leading up to his death. He told my mother this new woman could "understand" him in ways my mother could never, and that this woman could intellectually stimulate him (insinuating that my mother was too dumb to do that).. I'm sorry but THAT hurt her worse than any thoughts of a physical relationship they may or may not have. He dropped dead a couple of months later, so we never had the answers or the closure that we needed.

The other woman ACTUALLY had the nerve to show up at the wake. My mother (who was standing in line next to my father's coffin) asked that she be removed from the funeral home or my mother was going to really hurt her...
