Having just gone through this 2 months ago, I can report that it's mostly just a little uncomfortable, not painful. If you have a chatty doctor during the surgery the time flies right by. And afterwards the stitches are a little itchy until they dissolve. I know... tmi.

Shoulder is a common weight lifting injury. 

Google "frozen shoulder".

Also could be tendonitis.

That is how it is for most men. So I've been told.

Hillbilly is a red head and as his bother found out the pain is much different for reds.

I'm having a particularly rough time. Yesterday I just cried on FaceTime while talking to my husband. He is frustrated because nothing he says seem to help, but it's not his fault I'm this sad, it's just the combination of everything. We are closing on 10 months since we started our LDR, (but just four at USCIS) and I know it's not nearly as long as what other people have waited, but for some reason I'm getting gradually more depressed.  The fact I'm in Mexico City on my own is sure making things more stressful, but going back to my parents isn't that much better, either. So I just feel stuck and unmotivated. Every project I want to start would have to be dissolved in less than a year. That's if I have the willpower to start to begin with. I keep buying the same things over and over and forgetting where most of my stuff is. Some is here, some at my husband's, some at my parent's.  My luggage is on the floor with clothes still, my hair is falling out like crazy. 

I've moved over 10 times in the past few years. Been on planes over 20 times.  I'm losing track of it all.  

 

Anyway sorry for the rant!

It is hard.  I remember when we got our approval I was jumping up and down I was so happy.  You'll get there.
