Poor husband is texting me about working a job up by the border crossing... he had to drive all the way down to work just to go way far back up and further north.

I kind of assumed if they were really old that they weren't.  Almost all of our drains are replaced, but we still have our cast iron sink drain.  My husband is in amazement that it still works and doesn't clog. 

 

Duh, you just don't put food/grease down it like some people do and it will be fine.

Galvanized is the worst #### you can possibly use for drain pipes.

Dropped Mini-B. at a "playcare" place pending Mrs. T-B.'s getting off work & picking him up, she pick wee man.

 

Then swung by bank to make a POTS deposit, $i man.

Bank personnel were unprepared for our arrival, off-guard they man.

'Twas almost comical to see them rush to find/roll out the red carpet, race they man.

And one almost threw out her back curtseying and genuflecting so hurriedly, ouch she man.

I hate mornings. Hate them. This morning, at 0730, the doorbell goes. MIL failed to tell me that someone was coming to collect all the the bits and pieces she has here for the cemetery she manages. It is the result of a mix-up discovered last fall, where she flagged an incorrect plot 5 years ago, and someone's ashes were buried in the wrong place, and a headstone was erected in the wrong spot. Which totally freaked out the people who actually own the plot in question. 

(They would be more freaked out if they knew that the ashes of said strange person were not buried in a tidy little box, but poured in there, and no way you can retrieve that)

Took three months to track down the incorrectly filed person's family, and sort that out. So, she's giving it up.

 

The lady who tuned up didn't just want the files, the keys, the plot maps. Oh no, the MIL told her she would print out the mailing list labels. which would be fine, if she actually could do that. Totally forgot she never has, the program won't work on her Windows 10 computer, but only on my old Windows 7 machine. So no coffee, half awake, I had to try to figure  out how to work that stupid mail merge thing. Unhappy to say the least. My plan to run errands, and plant ####### in the garden today has gone right out the window.
