Yes it was. They are making up for it now. 

No they haven't yet. They are not too loud yet, can barely hear them inside. I just want them gone on their freezer vacation sooner then later.

Thanks for offering, but I don't think it is probably worth it.  I mean we had to search the surface for the crack on this screen...it wasn't even dropped and the whole lcd busted.  It isn't going to be a phone, even if fixed, that is going to last more than a month or two before it is broken again.  On the other hand, the Dane cracked the screen badly on the iphone and it kept working for another 8 months (and still does, thankfully as he needed it today for his contact list).  I told him to write them all down so he doesn't need to worry about it in the future.
