We don't have a husband, hmmmph Niki-B. ma'am.

Well, then you're half-back in good graces here, Niki-B. ma'am.

And Canadian summers are so short that your dad's side are merely pinknecks, see ma'am.

Maybe you should get one TBone.  He can help you with all your housework. :D

You don't realize that Canadian Rednecks are rednecks because they spend most of their time outside in the snow.  Most hunting, fishing, and trapping takes place in winter on frozen lakes, in the deep woods, and running around on snowmobiles.  Oh wait... Texas... yeah so, there's this white stuff, it's kinda cold, and we call it snow.  Because of this cool white substance, you can have fresh water to drink. It falls from the sky instead of rain at higher elevations and further north. It also sticks around longer. I know it's not on your radar, but I swear on my grandma's grave it exists.

Freaking 6 phone calls, 4 text messages, and 2 fire radio calls later... just to inform of us of an impending thunderstorm that happens like once a week in summer.

Or we could look out our windows (or see the lightening through the blinds) from 40 miles out in the prairie and see what is plain as day coming towards us?

That fire radio is loud.  Too loud for a weather alert that isn't baseball sized hail or a tornado.

The older child threw a fit at dinner, not over the copious amount of carrots and celery as usual, but the 3 pieces of pasta in her chicken noodle soup.  Refused to eat it, gagged, spit it out, sat for half an hour crying over it, etc.

The Hillbilly wanted to go out to eat. Then hit walmart.

He orders a turkey leg  oh wait it was a smoked turkey leg

Hopefully tomorrow I can get the sand I need for my chicken coop.

Oh the rooster I sold yesterday. Well it seems that the girl easter eggers were being hoarded by him. They are now happily socializing much more with the other girls.

Now 3 roosters to go!

Hillbilly bought a new knife they 2 maybe gone this weekend. One is not crowing yet so he gets to stick around to get fatter!

Oh my New cell phone I got it's awesome. So awesome the Hillbilly got one too  He said he never would get one.

We had sushi today.  It was fabulous.  Today was my cheat meal day.  And it was sushi.  And fabulous.  All those years I said I didn't like sushi... What was I thinking!?!

What kind of phone did you get?!?!

I tried on swim suits today as well.  I showed hubs the pics of the two that I liked and got "why the heck are you wearing a one piece?"  Apparently I should wear a bikini... I wish I could find a store that sells those vintage looking ones. At least the higher waist ones for that style are cute vs just looking like spanx.
