Man I'm trying to do some gardening, and the wind won't stop blowing.

I'm trying to pot more veggies for upstate. I want hot peppers! Melons, gourds, corn, etc...

My friend called, the bimini top frame on the boat's fly bridge is bent from the wind. What the hay man...

We & Mini-B. were out together because Mrs. T-B. left at o'dark-Many for her Skool Commencement, graduate she man.

Ahh, congrats. We attended the Colombiana's graduation, as well. She was able to get a couple of needed certifications in nursing at the practically free community college. Typical graduation ceremony. As bored as I was, I think she was even more so. We also went to a restaurant afterwards to celebrate. Our adventures in finding new restaurants have followed this pattern for 1.5 years...

Her: You choose a restaurant

Me: [check recc's from friends, internet, etc.] I found one!

We park a few blocks away, and as we walk to the restaurant, she inevitably finds other restaurants along the way, reads the menus...

Her: Oh, this one serves duck. Let's go to this one.

Don't get me wrong, duck is mighty fine. But she hasn't eaten anything else at a *new* restaurant in over a year.

May be if you chose a restaurant that serves duck, she'll find one that serves something else new....

(reverse psychology)

But then again, may be she'll call your bluff, and say "OK"

(Reverse-reverse psychology)

Hope you got sorted before it got erm messy

Could be worse, I was in the grocery store in the U.K.  once and the lady in front of me had very very explosive diarrhea, I thought Armageddon had arrived!

Munchkin came out of school all excited cos she still had 51% batter left on her phone and that she didn't get it covered n clay during art - cue discussion about class time being for learning not messing with the phone *sigh*

She is a good kid & a straight A student so I'm not worried....yet

Everything crossed for a smooth and stress free journey

1- Ew...

2- there's a Haitian guy that works for me. Everyday he brings his own lunch of some weird dish. Some yellow liquidy muck. Everyone is grossed out by it, but no one wants to ask him what it is, for fear of offending him. Until one day I saw him eating it, and me, being the deftly straight forward guy that I am...said, "what the f is that diarrhea you're eating??" Well, he wasn't offended, but we all got a good laugh out of it. Turns out it's some kind of beet starch soup with grounded up yucca and it's disgusting...ew...
