Asia, the disgusting CD that you wanna buy IS available online.

And, it'd probably cost us about the same to buy it online, have it shipped to us, (Around 12.00 including shipping), and then ship it to you, about another 20?  You'd be saving like 10 bucks, and waiting forever....

Yeah, I know, Ifound it on amazon.

The total cost is $25. I thought It'd be cheaper to simply buy at Target and send it to Poland, silly me :P

Shipping packages is a lot more expensive than it used to be.  It is a shame because it used to be a bigger thing - sending packages back and forth to family, etc.

I send books to my former flatmate in NZ, stuff she has trouble getting there. Shipping is usually more than the price of the book.

Garden center day from Hades. It's a big glasshouse, and it's hot out, so inside was like an oven. I was trying to marshal the husband  on his walking stick, and the MIL on her walker. Of course, everyone wandered off in opposite directions.

That there is a garden out there is my own fault really. About 6 years ago, when she was away in the East visiting people for 6 weeks, we turned her back patio area into a garden, by way of a birthday present. There was nothing growing there  grass wise, because of so much shade. My Husband built steps down from her bedroom patio, and I made a rock wall around the space. We dug it down 3 feet, and put about 18 bags of clay busting potting soil/topsoil to raise it up. He installed a drain, a buried one that runs off into the yard.

We installed a rock fountain, and planted it out. She really did like it. But she is the sort of gardener to prefers to sit and admire one, not actually do any of the work. She's big on pointing.  I've made a rod for my own back, in other words. She also neither weeds, nor deadheads, nor waters.

It always looks a bit eccentric. I'm sort of a cottage garden fan, and I tend to go for smaller flowers, in a sort of color theme. None of that thanks, lol, she wants bright reds and oranges, hot pinks and purples. It makes my teeth ache just to look at it.

I loaded the pair of them into the car, and her walker, and all the plants and got them back here. They retired to the air con, and I unloaded the car, and carted it all around to the back yard through the gate.  I'm going to try and get it all done this week, I don't like to leave plants potted in that crappy stuff they come in, they do better once you get them planted.

I can explain it to you. But I can't understand it for you.

Aaaaahhhh I need another raised garden bed for veggies.  Maybe next year.

Stuff seems to grow really well here - there is a ton of sunlight and the temperature is not too hot.
