Feltmans hotdog, no nitrates.

Sabretts is really good tho, as are Hebrew nationals. They give Nathan's a run.

But there was a smaller Nathan's recall a couple of months ago. The small packs.

Don't think we've tried Sabretts. We get Hebrew nationals and Nathan's most of the time, then I saw these Walmart ones and gave them a try.

Speaking of Walmart.

Did you guys know...

Whole foods was bleeding cash.

Amazon bought whole foods.

Whole foods business model, organic food, target one side of the political spectrum... got annihilated by all these other companies  that simply put 2 aisles of organic foods in their store. Walmart, Costco, etc...

Lesson learned, you can't base an entire business in a niche that's easily filled by the competition. And you can't rely on politics when it comes to a money making business. Other companies that learned the hard way, are ESPN, huff post, yahoo, aol, NFL...these companies are bleeding audience,  subscribers and sponsors.

Now, we have a niche business.

It's been good so far. Let's see how long that lasts...

Nathan's is king.

But man the Feltmans hotdogs we ate, the texture was perfect! When you bite into it, it's crisp and firm...

Try a Sabretts, they're really good.

Why am I talking about hotdogs. I don't even eat them.

Or you know, you can't make your grocery store largely out of the reach of most consumers, aka by being whole paycheck.

My parents used to get me giftcards to Whole Foods when I first moved out of the house, only way I could afford to shop there versus King Soopers.

3/2/18  E-filed N-400 under 5 year rule

3/26/18 Biometrics

7/2019-12/2019 (Yes, 16- 21 months) Estimated time to interview MSP office.

NYC car dealers have a terrible reputation. All of them.

So I contacted a new car dealer in NJ.

But their internet commerce guy is a pain the the ### man. I said I want the manufacturers offer. There's only one lease offer for that car. Give me the actual numbers for that car!

But no, he's like, do you want this, do you want that, what other trim do you want, etc...no dammit, just gimme whatever trim they're offering!

FFS...Honda leases are much simpler. "Hello, do you have this car? For this much? Yes? Ok I'm coming down".

How does the concept of saving face play into constantly grifting things from people?  Are they not part of that culture?

It's complex to explain.

First, let's put an identity on them.

They're Chinese, but like the people of HK, they don't identify themselves as Chinese.

They call themselves Malaysian, or more definitively, Peranakan, or Nyonya.

That said, I've come to learn that they've actually retained much more of the old Chinese tradition than even the people of China. The decades of communist repression turned those people into...something they weren't before.

That said, they do like "face". But where they don't need it, they have no shame.

And like all cultures, there are good and bad.

Where tiff came from, deep in the rain forest, a former tin mining area, and villagers harvesting latex rubber, the people are old, and traditional. Most are very nice.
