Maybe today we will have another chicken join in on the egg laying action. 

 

 

Woke up this morning to the ac not working again. Turned it off the Hillbilly was supposed to call them when he got to work. I didn't want to call them at 6:30 because when they switch from call center to the main office the service request doesn't always follow. I'm about to lose a gasket on them. This unit is not even a year old yet.

Right now I am so thankful for this thread so I can rant because I am pissed!

 

So my dad passed away 2 years ago and there are still stuff that needs to be resolved around the whole thing. Today I called a bank that apparently let him take a loan and open a bank account in my mother's name without even talking to her. This happened several years ago when my mom got a clot in her lung which lead to a deep depression, PTSD and anxiety, money was tight and instead of cancelling all his precious magazine subscriptions he thought it was a great idea to take a loan. 

 

Called today to close the account (the loan is paid off) and they refused to talk to me because I'm the daughter and started talking about me having to get a written authorization. I said fine talk to mom. Didn't even take 2 minutes before the guy realized it was better to talk to me. Mom has no clue what's going on in life. She can't handle anything or she panics.  

 

So yeah apparently you can open a bank account and take a loan in someone else's name without any issues whatsoever...

Great, exactly what you want in the middle of the summer Why can't the AC ever break on a regular, not too cold not too hot day? Hope you get it fixed soon!

Broke AC is about as useful as a chocolate fire guard

 

Painting is all done, Redneck has declared today a day of rest cos apparently supervising me work is exhausting 😂

Canadians tend to melt with temperatures higher than 92.

You better tell that lazy useless Hillbilly to get his butt on the phone and call his cousin Billy Bob to come fix that thing....

Luckily the nigh temps have been dropping. That is unusual for here. It normally gets hot and stays hot.

Yes and since the poor man is gone I still would have went after the bank.

zucchini is good in muffins it's like doing carrot cake and muffins but better

 

I could use some chocolate so I don't kill the ac guy if it's not fixed when he leaves.

Maybe that is why I can set my pool up in April while everyone else waits till June  

 

I didn't do that this year though. I waited for the tassels to fall off the oak tree so I wouldn't have to fish them out of the pool.

Blerk. Those oak tassels are the pits. The dog is short and has a feathery coat, and I picked those things out of her coat for weeks. If you don't get them, her hair knots up around those little seeds, and then I have to get the scissors out.

I am lying in wait today for the MIL's PT guy. What a twerp. He claims he was here yesterday at 13:00 and rang the doorbell, but as no one answered, he left. That darn bell is so loud you can hear it all the way out to the back yard. No way did he ring that thing. I'd have heard it.

He never rings it, he taps on the door. In a house the size of this, you wouldn't hear him unless you were standing on the other side. I've told him that, more than once. 

So today, I am giving him lessons on the function of the doorbell.

 

Got a sitter to stay with the MIL Thursday as the Husband has a follow-up in LR with the sleep study.

 

I have friends arriving from NZ for 4 nights Saturday morning early. As in 03:02 early, and I'm meant to uplift them from the LR train station. I am delighted to go into Fort Apache LR at that hour of the day. They just don't know any better. Tuesday morning at 03:04, they leave from the same place. Another fabulous idea. There were three shootings in LR/North LR yesterday alone. Great idea. I have a sitter to stay with the MIL for two of those nights, they want to go to Branson.

 

I'll be running around like a mad woman the rest of the week.
