There is. Compulsive decluttering, likely a manifestation of obsessive-compulsive disorder. I've seen it called obsessive-compulsive spartanism. It is an actual condition.

We can declutter but typically dislike it, sometimes massively, so what condition do we have, Eh ma'am?

Our gamble last weekend paid off, jackpot man.

We gambled by not mowing the lawn, indolent we man.

This was predicated on No Rain either today, Sat., or Sun., how dry we are man.

We began at half-plus-half-of-half after Many p.m., most of yard in shadow man.

Job did not kill us, therefore made us stronger man.

Can concentrate on casa-cleaning now, obstacle removed man.

However, no nap this eve, so limited energy for cleaning, need zzz we man.

Athletic tail has just knocked some office supplies off desk into garbage can, perhaps a providential indicator man.

We have informed cat that Mommy & Little Brother will be back early Monday morn, redeye man.

Local supermarket is instituting grocery-delivery, compete with competitors man.

Free delivery plus nearly half off a $Many-or-above (>$2x2x2x2x2+[2x2x2x2+1]) order, hmmm man.

I surprisingly lost weight when my dad was dying.  I am normally an emotional eater, so it was out of character.  Moving back to America is what put the pounds on and last summer's trip to Denmark (10 lbs!). 

When he was dying I didn't eat much because somehow that made me feel guilty. When he was alive I was bugging him to lose weight and exercise for his diabetes and I was walking at least an hour a day. When he died I was like "Why bother?" so the couch and Netflix became my best buddies and I gained about 10 lbs too. 

 

I also think it is because I am eating differently. A lot of the foods in America has a ton of sugar in them (and other #######) and I just need to get into the habit of making everything from scratch.

That is the saddest thing I've read in a long time

 

Re weight gain, after my husband died I lost a lot of weight, I was literally a walking skeleton, I was eating but still lost weight - since I've moved here I've gained a lot and am now heavier than I've ever been ( still not overweight but about 10lb more than I'd like ), I think it's partly due to the food being very different to what I'm used to ( lots of sugar and stuff ) and partly because I have to drive everywhere - we live in the mountains, 6 miles from the closest store of any kind.

Long and short is I need to find a way to get exercise that isn't going to kill my back because all the work I do outside isn't enough!

First, I missed the deadline for ordering the kid's school  kit for the next grade.

And what the heck, 10 days after the last day of school, the deadline is past??

Then I get on "Build a kit" (A Staples company), and they're out of stock on everything.

OK, so I get on Staples, and they have everything. And it's a painstaking process putting a kit together, and 2 items from finish, the site goes down!!

How frustrating....
