It's been a quite a gloomy day in many senses.

But I'm almost 15 days away from going back home for a month,

a much needed break from Mexico City, try to figure out what's next.

I feel completely stuck. My things are scattered in different cities, with different people. I live out of a suitcase. The finish line keeps moving away from me, as I'm seeing Nebraska get slower and slower and it's getting to a point where my husband and I need to discuss possible future plans/alternatives.  It sounds super dramatic, but I don't think I can spend over two years long distance, especially at the beginning of our marriage. But we don't know what we're going to do, if we do have any options at all. Anything we do besides waiting, is an inconvenience. He can't just pack his life and move to Mexico with me, that easily.  This is incredibly frustrating.

We have spent the last Many hours furiously dealing with stacks of papers in our office, clean we man.

We have shredded a lot and marked even more for recycling, obsolete stuff by now man.

Cat is confused by the interminable chaos in the room, puzzled miu man.

However, we did find Mrs. T-B.'s GC-extension letter, and Mini-B.'s hospital records at birth, she and wee man.

 

The good part is that we are compiling a list of meaningful titles for Pendaflex folders, finally redo filing system man.

Not sure that all can be completed as of Mrs. T-B.'s return, but it is necessary and a good start, si man.

I went to a China dinner yesterday. Silkworms was on the menu. 

Did not eat. I gotta see if it's legal in NYC to serve insects...

Very rude chinawoman on the table. 

 

It wasn't a good day. I lost my mind in the office to TNG's non-stop complaining. By the end of the day, every boss in the office lost his cool. 

 

So, by the dinner party, I wasn't in the best of moods.

Redneck has taken to this being incapacitated thing like a duck to water, I am not convinced surgery on his neck means he cannot dry himself after a shower...

I'm not sure both of us are going to survive his recovery!

 

MIL is being exceptionally difficult, says one thing then does the opposite - my patience is being stretched very thin in all directions

 

In better news I discovered a discount grocery store, the dog is eating like a king 😂😂
