My coffee maker is broken and I haven't replaced it yet.  I'm picky.  Off to Dunkin' Donuts I go

I have one of those fancy pants single cup espresso makers from Nespresso. About 2 months ago it broke, just 11 months after I bought it. Having gone through the warranty hassles on other products, I steeled myself for an ordeal. But as it turned out, buying it off Wayfair.com was a good stroke of fortune. When I called the support line at Wayfair and explained the rotor/motor was burned out, he had a refund on my credit card in 1 hour, the new machine shipped that day, and I had the new machine 2 days later. Oh, and he didn't have a problem believing me so he told me just to trash the broken one and not bother sending it back. Some experiences restore my faith in humanity.

The Colombiana is off to Albuquerque with her Venezulana friend to help the friend get her biometrics done. Sad story. Her American USC husband is already trying to cheat on her. Not grade A husband material as he's fathered 3 children with 3 different women before hooking up with my wife's friend.

My daughter has been going to bed at 11 and up at 5:45am the past two days...enter zombie mom with no coffee 😩

Hey when did you  get a visit from my kids??

They don't stay up that late the odd time the Tornado does but the Jedi goes to bed at about 7pm. But that boy wakes up anywhere from 4am and if I'm really lucky he sleeps in till 6am. The 4am is usually after time change and now that he is slowly starting to get past 5 the time will change again and screw him up.

Wow that is a lot of work. Is it thick too? I can't be bothered to do more then brush mine :) Although when I do cut it it's really curly like I have a spiral perm kind of curls.

Right now my hair is barely past my butt, I'm trying to see if it will grow any longer then that. I usually cut it at this length so I don't know if it will keep growing or if it's my maximum growth length. If it does grow not sure how long I'll let it get before chopping it off.

I have the same thoughts on cutting it short. Too much work to style it and if it's real short then you need to get it cut over and over to keep the style. What a waist of time and energy :P

It is thick too.  My hair is kind of weird---I don't have full curls, but if I brush it when dry in its natural state I kind of look like I got an electric shock or as my husband would say, like Hagrid from Harry Potter.

I dropped the older child off at cheer camp this afternoon.

As predicted, this was a bad idea - tears start welling up in her eyes when she sees they are running.  "I hate running."

She picked this sport as her summer sport, not me.

Good news is the perpetual bike crier learned to ride her two wheel bicycle this week.

Maybe we'll even get to swimming next year.

I know I sound down on her, but this crying stuff is ridiculous.  Her biological father used to do as an adult to try and get out of things - I have zero tolerance for it.

It's hard but it won't do her any good as she gets older, it's a tough world out there

Everything crossed for a smooth and stress free journey
