So while I'm not happy with my tummy, I realize I never will be.  My stretched skin wont be going anywhere. If women who are much older and bigger than I am have the confidence to do it, why can't I?  

I think you should try some on next time your husband is there.   I bet he will compliment you and that will help your confidence.  Everytime you feel nervous just think, he thinks I look amazing! 

see that's the difference, I am fat. Maybe not obscenely so, but I feel that way. It's been a loooong battle against myself and how I feel people perceive me, but I'm getting there, slowly but surely. 

that's a good tip. Still, I'm going for high waist, since I think they're cute, retro AND they will hide my tummy, hah!

Another gloomy, grey day in Mexico City.

Another client cancelling (she found out she is pregnant, so really not her fault. Ok technically because she got knocked up)*

But I got the message and I'm enjoying the day, dreading the chores I have left like going to the bank, opening an account, getting my police records, etc. Fun times!

I wonder if I can convince the Dane to cut my hair to like shoulder length when he gets home.

 

It is such a pain at the moment, even my mirror doesn't go down long enough for me to style it and I am sick of braids.

I can send my boy to you to do it. I let him cut 18 inches off of mine after the Tornado was born. Grew it all back now but holy heck you actually style it!?!

I do curl it and flat iron it and stuff.  The curling is just too much of a pain when it is really long so I don't do it often.

 

I had the Dane cut maybe 8 inches off.  It is still pretty long, but I think it might be a more manageable length.  I'm going to think on going shorter, but maybe I don't want to rush into it.  I think I would have to spend a lot more time on styling it if it was too short.

Wow that is a lot of work. Is it thick too? I can't be bothered to do more then brush mine  Although when I do cut it it's really curly like I have a spiral perm kind of curls. 

Right now my hair is barely past my butt, I'm trying to see if it will grow any longer then that. I usually cut it at this length so I don't know if it will keep growing or if it's my maximum growth length. If it does grow not sure how long I'll let it get before chopping it off. 

 

I have the same thoughts on cutting it short. Too much work to style it and if it's real short then you need to get it cut over and over to keep the style. What a waist of time and energy
