08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

My husband just left back to the U.S and I'm, as per usual, a sobbing mess.

Work is driving my crazy, clients keep trying to move their appointments and I can't re-book them since I'm leaving soon.  

I decided to just let it be for now, try my best and get back to Cozumel for a while and push the reset button on my life. 

But before that there's a lot that I have to do still, and ugh.

➺ 02/08/17 Case Assigned to USCIS Nebraska, sigh. 

➺ 02/13/17 We got our NOA1! PD: February 8th 

➺ 12/15/17 NOA2 finally! after 10 1/2 months. 

➺ 12/21/17 NVC confirmed they received our file 

➺ 01/22/18 Documents sent to Rapidvisa 

➺ 02/05/18  NVC received our package 

➺ 03/15/18 Case complete! 

➺ 06/27/18  We got our Interview date! August 28th 

➺ 08/30/18 The package arrived (waited at Juarez)

➺ 08/31/18 Entered the U.S with my husband 

➺ 02/13/19 Husband confesses he cheated, leaves

➺ 02/16/19 Husband decides to abandon the marriage

➺ 05/13/19  I am officially divorced. 

 ➺ 07/03/20  I file to remove conditions on my own     

 ➺ 08/13/21 I finally get my biometrics appointment 

➺ 02/26/22 I got my interview assigned: March 31st.

Hair is more red than orange.. pretty sure it'll fade to pink.  LOL  (I hate pink)  But most people seem to like it even if it's not what I had wanted.  Kiddo thinks I look like Ariel which is funny.

Well, I did it, again. I fed about 50 total. Even have some leftovers in the form of kielbasa and ribs.

 

I invited my Taliban friend and his family, he's a high ranking official in the consulate. These Talibans, are very educated, very polite, very classy, very impressive. They came with grace, bearing gifts for everyone (pricey gifts). Everyone was enraptured by their presence. I felt gratified to have a friendship with a person of such caliber.

We are under bombardment. The street out in front of this house had better be littered with dead bad guys tomorrow  Nine days straight, seriously? Morning afternoon and half the night. Enough already! :angry:

There's a lotta fireworks going off here, too. And it's illegal. But nobody cares lol. Everyone plays with fireworks. I had like 2 dozen boxes of sparklers and other little kids fireworks for the kids.

I get to see people form other service centers get accepted, and even though I'm happy for them

it's not fair we get to wait 1-2 more months. Then Juarez is horrible, so I know I'm looking to go over the one year mark

and it's breaking my heart. 

 

It's been raining a lot and people are trying to cancel/ move their appointments,

sorry but I closed my agenda. I have no more space, I'm done.
