Repeat rant, grrr man:

 

Went to Discount Tyre (British spelling) for free air, top-off man.

Again waited fully Many (2+2) minutes to be noticed at all, invisible man we man.

Slug comes out, no urgency man.

We politely request Many psi in each tyre, good reason man.

He rejoinders with "How about [Many minus Many], huh man?"

We more firmly request the original Many psi, firm we man.

Slug sets air machine on [Many minus Many] psi,  man.

We notice and point this out, duh he man.

"Oh, uh, sorry, sir," said he, duh he man.

Air-hose then quits working, further delays man.

Slug finally notices and very nonurgently attempts remediation, slug he man.

After Many (2x2x2+2+2) minutes of this "activity," tyres are finally aired, such efficiency man.

We ask, "Are all our valve-stem caps back on, huh man?"

Slug assures us of same, assure he man.

We later discover that one was left off, grrr man.

We don't have a stellar opinion of this Discount Tyre, no man.

2. No I won't subject VJ to her pic, she looks like she was hit by a mac truck. Sadly that gene seems a strong one and has been passed down to her child and grandchild.

Many.  The last 2 or Many weeks, Mrs. T-B. has been dragging Mini-B. to multiple swimming/karate/etc. lessons per week "to make up for missed classes and to get our money's worth before the trip," reason she man.  The result is an exhausted little boy, no wonder getting sick wee man.

I had just about talked him into acupuncture when the surgeons office called, he's having his surgery Friday

 

I am taking this as evidence that God does pay attention cos I've been asking for the strength to get him to surgery without killing him, apparently he couldn't do that but has brought his surgery forward 😁

My ankle is feeling better, the bruise looks nasty still, but the swelling went down, thankfully.

I get to see my flaco in four days and I'm so excited, I really miss him and I need this long weekend with him

to recharge my batteries and survive my last month in the city.

I have no clue what's going to happen the next six months (I have plans for one, or two at most)

but it has to be better. I have to be better.
