depending on how elaborate, but I'm guessing anything from 400 to 600. 

I did a big thigh piece in two sessions and charged 700 but it involved around 8 hours of work,

every artists has a different rate  but I wouldn't expect it to be cheap !

I just talked to my ex husband. Through Facebook 

He is being his usual self, (weird) but overall he was nice, we haven't talked in forever. 

The thing is we had a previous CR1 process dropped around a year and a half ago, (never went to NVC, we didn't send papers or money beyond USCIS approval)

 but I started worrying it might interrupt my current process. He didn't have any info from our case, so I don't have the case number.  I'm trying the lawyers that helped him,

just to see if they still have our file number and can tell me if it was properly withdrawn. I thought it was so I wasn't fretting, but now he told me that the lawyers said

''oh the case didn't go far enough, it dies on its own no need to do anything''And I know a letter has to be sent? Ugh, more things to worry about, great. 

I think I'll ask openly in the forums and not just as a rant, maybe someone knows?

It might or might not be an issue.  He can just send a quick letter off now.  

 

Weird question, but how does an approved I-130 not find its way to the NVC?

I mean I'm guessing it did reach NVC, but we never contacted them

We got divorced right as I got my letter of approval from USCIS

 

wouldn't he need to send a letter with the case file number? 

I might ask him to do so, but since he filed through lawyers he really doesn't know anything about the process 

also in that case would the letter be sent to NVC instead?

Knowing how much USCIS tends to mess things up, maybe it is best to just leave it alone or they might end up cancelling your current application or something ridiculous like that.  I think what should have been done is that when you filed the current I-130, you should have included a letter about canceling the old one.

I know I should, the problem is, the documents were sent in February.  I can't change that now. I'm guessing there is no way to send missing documents at this point. 

I didn't know much about the CR1 back then and no lawyer suggested it, I'm just hoping once the RFE comes, if it comes and I'm guessing it will, we can clear the air.

I dont expect it to be cheap juat wondering how long it may take.  8 hours is fine.  Lol
