cdneh, thanks for the sharing your m-i-l story, and you have my sympathies in your struggles in dealing with it. It actually sounds very similar to the last 3 years of my father's life who passed away last year, just one year after my mother passed. It's really opened my eyes. I always assumed that I could face death with dignity, but from what I can see, it's far easier said than done.
